Ciao! I know it has been so long since I posted a decent photo or outfit! I have been super busy with Keli and his family, school, etc. It has been hectic, but everything has begun to slowly calm down. Keli was kind enough to do these on his break & his does a fantastic job, I almost forgot how well he took pictures (he has been to busy to do them, luckily my roommate Nicole has been generous & helps). This sweater is one that I do not take out of my wardrobe so much because I would like to preserve it. Washing machines in Italy are not very friendly! Since my nana crocheted this sweater for me, I would like to keep it in nice condition. The outfit was, and I am happy I brought these ballerina flats out. Again they are suede so they get dirty easily in the winter months, but I wanted color! I miss spring & summer : basically I miss COLOR! Especially since the spring shows had so much color, I hope to implement some in my nearly black wardrobe. Now I am off to work out before my mandatory movie screening at school! by the way I know my photos have a bit of an orange tint, i don't know why I AM NOT orange nor would I try to be (reminds me too much of jersey shore) Mpuc

Leather Jacket

Leather jacket: BCBG
T-shirt: Express
Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch
Flats: Ralph Lauren
Watch: Fossil
Clutch: Coach

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I worked a lot this week and when I would get home at night no one was able to take my pictures :(. Anyways, I got my hair cut this week! I'm not really sure if I like it yet, because my hairdresser had to cut off quite a bit since and I hadn't had it cut in a while, but it's definitely growing on me. I think I'm going to dye it darker brown next week! Today I had a really nice, relaxing day, which was a nice break from my hectic week of work. I went to get a manicure and pedicure with my mom, and then my family and I went out to dinner. The dinner was awesome and then after we went to Pinkberry since my parents hadn't been there before. Now  they're in love with it just like I am! I wore my new leather jacket and watch out to dinner tonight. My brother and his girlfriend kept calling me Michael Jackson because the shoulders in my jacket are sort of big, but I know they're just jealous of my jacket :p. Have a good weekend! XoXo Katie

Chambray Shirt: Gap
T-shirt: Hanes
Jeans: Forever 21
Boots: Seychelles
Headband: Bonneterie Bandeau
Scarf: Deena & Ozzy (Urban Outfitters)

Hey guys! Hope you had a nice weekend! Yesterday I went with my family
to Woodbury Commons in New York. For those of you that don't know what
that is, it's a giant outlet mall that has a ton of amazing stores
like Chanel, Saks Fifth Avenue, J. Crew, etc. I had high hopes going
there and I left pretty happy. I got a clutch from Coach, new sneakers
from Nike, and a tweed jacket from Chico's. I've never bought anything
from Chico's before, I only went in because my mom wanted loves the store. ButI found this cute jacket for really cheap, so I snatched it up! It was
super cold yesterday and my mom insisted that I wear a ton of layers. One of the things that I'm wearing that kept me super warm is my headband. My friend Caroline from school made it! She's super creative and so many girls on campus have bought her headbands. Her headband company is called Bonneterie Bandeau. After we went shopping, we ate at Pepe's. They have amazing pizza there, and we had a white clam pizza as well as a margherita pizza. After, we went to Libby's to get cannolis for dessert. All in all, it was a very nice day! :) XoXo Katie

The Power of Orange

Have you all noticed that orange shades have been making an impact? I am sure you have since almost every designer uses it, accessories include it, and cheaper brands infuse it :p. Basically bright colors are on the rise & by using block color in your outfits, you are incorporating the new trends. Although I take color with a grain of salt, I do want to achieve a look including orange. I don't know if I will go out and buy the color, but I have an orange j.crew shirt that I do love and will try and use it more. It also has a bit of a 70s safari vibe which is great for this season. I made a little orange collage for ya'll since pictures have been scarce. Sorry but the weather in Roma this weekend was just not having it! Maybe during the week it will brighten up :) Mpuc Liridona

Shopping Day

Chambray shirt: Gap
Leggings: Zara
T-shirt (under chambray shirt): Express
Boots: Chinese Laundry
Scarf: Deena & Ozzy
Necklace: Mom's
Bracelets: Vintage

Hey guys! Yesterday I went to the mall with my friend Kristina. She has been job hunting lately, so we were walking around the mall thinking of places for her to apply to. Then I had to go back to my mom later to help her pick out an outfit to wear next week to see a play on Broadway with my dad and some of their friends. Home has been sort of boring lately since most of my friends have gone back to school. The weather has also been very rainy and snowy lately which makes it even worse. I love being home with my family, but I'm anxious to get back to school and start Spring semester. My favorite part of this outfit is my stack of silver bracelets. They are my favorite part because they were my grandma's bracelets, which she then gave to me. She wore them when she was my age, and it always makes her, as well as my mom, happy when I show her that I'm wearing them. The bracelets are so fun, because each of them has a different pattern, whether it be flowers, stripes, etc. I'm only wearing a few of them with this outfit, but she gave me a ton of them! My First Day at School

Boots: LF Stores
Long Socks: American Apparel
Laptop Case: Kate Spade
Leather Jacket: BCBG
Scarf: Urban Outfitters
Knit Dress: Stand in Roma
Jewelry: LF Stores & Forever21
Leggings: American Apparel

Ciao Ragazzi! Come va? I am back in Roma for university. The Spring Semester started yesterday, and this is what I wore to school. I really liked it because it was comfortable & urban. Since I am in Roma and there are many cobblestones boots tend to become part of my wardrobe, I usually can't live without tights (I have so many patterns usually in black, but a few brown ones). I hope if you are all back in school or going, you enjoy your first day or did :p! I really miss my friends back home, but the weather in Roma is so nice right now I can deal with being away from the coldness of the U.S. You can almost go out without a jacket! Isn't that incredible? Anyway I have class soon ciao! Mpuc

Black & Tan

Sweater: Old Navy
T-shirt: Express
Jeans: Forever 21
Jacket: My Tribe
Scarf: Burberry
Loafers: Cole Haan
Purse: Longchamp
Belt: Liz Claiborne

Hey guys! Hope you're having a good weekend so far! I had family visiting today, so I've just been relaxing at home most of the day and wanted something comfortable to wear. This morning my brother and I made spinach and feta cheese egg white omelettes, and they were delicious! I've been really into cooking lately, it's so much fun! A few nights ago I made chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, which were also delicious! My aunt and uncle gave me a late Christmas present today since we haven't had a chance to see them because of all the snow. They gave me this great gold watch, which I'm so excited to wear (so look out for it in future posts!). Today I wore a basically all black and tan outfit. Typically when I wear my Burberry scarf I try and keep it simple because I like to let the scarf be the main piece of the outfit. I would normally wear black flats with this type of outfit, but today I wore tan loafers for a change and I liked the other pop of tan in the outfit. In some pictures I'm also wearing a tan jacket, which I decided to put on because I discovered it in my closet after having forgotten about it for months (I love when that happens because it feels as if I got a brand new piece of clothing!) and because it was super cold outside today. XoXo Katie
